BlockInterop Founders Selected for 2019 BIG Incubator Cohort
The BlockInterop Team is excited to share that our founders, Gina Malak and Charon Collier have been invited to participate in the 2019 BIG Incubator Cohort hosted by digitalundivided.

digitalundivided (DID), is a social enterprise founded in 2013, takes an innovative approach to economic empowerment by encouraging women of color (WOC) to own their economic security through entrepreneurship. Based in Atlanta, DID is the primary pipeline for WOC into innovation-focused entrepreneurship, helping founders raise over $25 million in outside funding.

The program is built upon the success of DID’s FOCUS Fellow (FF) program (2012–2014), which provided support for WOC entrepreneurs. FOCUS started as a day-long workshop in 2012 and expanded to a virtual accelerator program in 2014. In 2015, DID started the #ProjectDiane data initiative and use insights gained from the on-going project to build the BIG Incubator program and the BIG Innovation Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The BlockInterop Team Gina Malak, Charon Collier and Monica Shepard — VP Business Developement were all finalists of the BIG Kickoff Weekend Event that was held in Atlanta Georgia on February 22–24, 2019.
The first chohort of BIG graduated in January 2017. The second BIG Cohort started in spring 2017. The 4th Cohort will begin this spring 2019. BlockInterop has accepted the invitation to join DID, beginning March 11, 2019 in Atlanta, GA.
